METALLICA: Madrid Show Announced

METALLICA has added a July 13 show in Madrid, Spain to its 2009 European tour itinerary. The schedule is now shaping up as follows:

According to the band, "these shows are 'in the round,' so that means general admission standing on the floor, reserved seating off the floor. There are some exceptions . . . shows in Copenhagen will be all general admission."

METALLICA's Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Monday, October 20 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with the group by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). (Note: Contrary to a previous announcement, the band will **NOT** be performing on the program.)

On October 16, METALLICA will take the stage when the annual "Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica 2008" take over Guadalajara, Mexico. The awards, which will be held inside the Auditorio Telmex, will air live at 9 p.m. ET, only on MTV Tr3´s. According to MTV News, METALLICA will be performing the first single from "Death Magnetic", "The Day That Never Comes". Others set to appear at this year's "Premios" include TOKIO HOTEL, PARAMORE, KISS' Gene Simmons, THE KOOKS, BELANOVA, JULIETA VENEGAS, and BABASÓNICOS.
